NGC 6229 is a globular cluster in Hercules, no not THAT globular cluster. That globular cluster is the spectacular globular, Messier 13. This one is about 100,000 light years away and is thought to be the remnant core of a dwarf spheroidal galaxy according to Wikipedia.
