Baby Eagle Nebula

There are a bunch of LBN and LDN designations in this frame as well as Barnard 207. Whatever we refer to this patch of the Taurus Molecular Cloud as, it’s pretty amazing to see!

The Taurus Molecular Cloud is much, much larger than what is shown here but this cloud might be the closest large star forming region to us. That’s according to Wikipedia but the description is a bit vague so take it with a few grains of salt.

The cloud is a region filled with complex molecules and is full of great broadband targets. This is 39h of LRGB data. For all the technical details, see astrobin.
