The Hole In The Trees Skybox

The Hole In The Trees Skybox is the backyard observatory of Kevin Quin. Kevin was kind enough to allow me to come in and tour his observatory and pester him with questions about its construction.

Kevin is a fantastic imager and also the coordinator of the Byron Bergert Imaging Group which is a subgroup of the Northern Virginia Astronomy Cub. You can find Kevin’s images as well as construction photos of his observatory at The Hole In The Trees Skybox.

Kevin’s build threads at Cloudy Nights are at Observabox: It Begins for his “dog house” style observatory and Hole In The Trees Skybox 2.0 for the current roll-off-roof observatory.
