Messier 64 (LRGB)

M64, also known as the Black Eye Galaxy and NGC 4826, is a spiral galaxy in Coma Berenices. The galaxy is 17.3 million light years away. It has an apparent size o 10.7 x 5.1 arcminutes.

The galaxy gets its “Black Eye” nickname from the prominent dust in towards the core.

There are several smaller background galaxies hiding in the frame for those that want to test their visual acuity.
