vdB 9 (LRGB)


van den Bergh 9 is a dusty reflection nebula in Cassiopeia.That bright star in the center made this a very challenging image or process.

This is 37.25 hours of LRGB data and both PixInsight and Photoshop were used to process it.

The image below is the first processing attempt. I tried to manage the glare from the central star but was a bit too aggressive with the dehaze in photoshop.
